Sankranti (film)

Sankranti is a Telugu film, produced by R. B. Choudary under the Super Good Films banner, and directed by Muppalaneni Shiva. Starring Venkatesh, Sneha, Arti Agarwal, Srikanth and Sangeetha in lead roles. The music was composed by S.A. Rajkumar. The film was a Super Hit at the boxoffice. Sankranti is festival celebrated in India.

Raghavendra Venkatesh, Vishnu Srikanth, Chinna Siva Balaji and Vamsi Sharwanand are brothers. Raghavendra and Padma Arti Agarwal fall in love and they are relatives as well. They become engaged with the consent of their parents. But Raghavendras family loses everything they have due to certain incidents. Padmas parents reject Raghavendra on the basis of poverty. Raghavendra decides that he should make good money, buy a house and have all comforts before marriage. He achieves his targets. Then he marries a goodhearted and responsible girl, Anjali Sneha. Later, they settle Vishnus match with Padmas sister Kalyani Sangeeta. Vishnus wife is a woman of jealous nature and short temper. Due to her jealous behavior, there are certain problems. The rest of the film is about how these strongwilled brothers keep the joint family together and reap the benefits of it.Music composed by S. A. Rajkumar and released by the ADITYA Music Company. The soundtrack of Sankranti was released at a function arranged in the Rama Naidu studios on the night ofJanuary 2005. Sarath Kumar, K Raghavendra Rao and D Rama Naidu were invited as guests. The actors who attended included Venkatesh, Arti Agarwal, Aditi Agarwal, Sarada, Sneha, Sudhakar, Srikanth, Siva Balaji and Sarvanand. Sarath Kumar and K Raghavendra Rao released the soundtrack and gave the first copy to D Rama Naidu. Anupama hosted this event. Aditya Music bought the audio rights to this film. The soundtrack was released onJanuary 2005. ........
